Our Process

How a Fullerton job runs, step by step: free quote, written scope, written quote, sign-off - and the cheaper option named when there is one.

Sequence

Four steps, start to finish

Free inspection including every skylight curb, then a written quote.

01

Call or message

Tell us where the water is showing inside. On a skylight leak that alone often identifies which face of the curb failed, before anyone climbs a ladder.

02

Free inspection, roof and attic

Both, together. Water enters at a junction and travels before it drops, so a survey from the roof alone is how the same leak gets fixed twice.

03

Re-flash or replace, priced side by side

On a forty-year-old skylight curb those are genuinely different jobs at genuinely different prices, and you should see both rather than one.

04

Written scope, written quote, then the work

The failed detail named. Sheathing priced per sheet. The area left clean and the before-and-after set handed over.

What it costs

All of it, priced

Published Orange County ranges, with your written quote after the visit.

Before you replace

Most roofs that get replaced did not need to be

This is the most expensive mistake a homeowner makes in this market, and it is usually made on someone else's advice.

01

One failed detail, not a failed roof

A skylight curb that has let go, a split upstand, a cracked vent boot: each is a repair costing hundreds, and each gets produced as evidence that the covering around it is finished. The two claims are not connected.

02

The test is the field, not the failure

Look away from the leak. If the covering across the rest of the slope still has granules, still lies flat and is not brittle, the roof has life in it and the repair is the right job.

03

On tile it is even starker

A tile roof quoted at $30,000 to $60,000 is very often an $8,000 to $22,000 lift and relay, because the tile is fine and only the felt beneath it has failed.

04

We will tell you when it is genuinely finished

Sometimes the answer really is a replacement, and saying so is the same job as saying the opposite. What you should not accept is either answer without being shown why.

Availability

The whole county calls in the same week

Worth knowing before you start ringing round, and worth factoring into anything with a deadline on it.

Roofs here fail quietly through a dry summer -- ultraviolet light and heat working on the covering, sealant hardening around every skylight curb, laps loosening -- then a Santa Ana lifts whatever was already loose, and the first serious rain finds all of it at once. Every roofer in north Orange County takes those calls on the same three nights.

What that means in practice: an active leak needs calling now rather than on the weekend, and anything tied to an escrow date or a solar install needs a survey booked well before you think you need it. Emergency call-outs carry a 20 to 30% premium for a reason -- everyone is busy at once.
